Decoding of Manufacturer Model Numbers
The Department uses manufacturer model numbers, among other furnace characteristics, to determine nominal airflow capacity. Manufacturers often code furnace specifications into their model numbers. This appendix illuminates the furnace specifications from manufacturer model numbers.
