Section 3 introduces the user to the ongoing management of BSIs (assets) and Opportunities and steps them through how to add, modify, complete and retire these records which will comprise a majority of what the ICAMP/Asset manager is responsible for day-to-day.

It is important that the ICAMP/Asset manager becomes comfortable performing these activities so that they can reflect the ongoing changes made to the portfolio and keep both asset and opportunity data up to date.

The section then goes on to cover how changes to the other primary records in the platform should be addressed, including:  Property, Buildings, Structures, the UC Catalog and Building Systems in eComet.  For the most part, changes to these records will be made by ICAMP and eComet administrators upon campus request.

Note:  Section 3 includes steps to add and modify Opportunities, however in Section 4, more detailed steps will be covered to help users complete DM Opportunities after they have been fully executed.
