The ICAMP Framework for Managing the UC Portfolio-Introduction
In order to manage the two main elements of the UC plant, infrastructure systems and buildings, ICAMP developed a framework for organizing and populating the UC asset portfolio.
The first building block in this framework is the portfolio hierarchy, which was designed to organize and represent the physical sub-division of the UC system. Where each campus location is its own entity (property) containing each campus’ infrastructure systems and buildings and their respective inventory of assets and deferred maintenance opportunities
The second building block of the ICAMP framework is the UC Asset and Cost catalog, which introduces a standardized approach for inventorying assets and costing out deferred maintenance.
Together, these building blocks make up the foundation of the ICAMP Tririga platform and allow the user to actively manage the portfolio across each asset’s lifecycle.
Developing a good working knowledge of how ICAMP has set up Tririga to manage the UC portfolio will facilitate finding, viewing, managing and extracting data as needed.
