How to Split Space Allocation Between 2 or More Departments
1. Go to the Space record in Tririga
2. Go to the Occupancy Allocations section of the Space record (in the General Tab)
NOTE: Use these instructions if you are creating a new Space record. If you are updating/changing an existing record, click the Revise button at the top right hand side of the screen.
Click the Find button.
Enter the name of the first Organization (Department, Division) that is being allocated to this space in the Name field, and press Enter in the Internal Organizations dialog box (See Article How to Allocate Space to an Organization (Department, Division) for instructions on how to add a single Organization to the Occupancy Allocations section of the Space record)
Put a check in the check box next to the Organization that is being allocated to this Space record and click OK.
Note that the first Organization to be added to the Occupancy Allocations is listed. Click the Find button to selection a second Organization to be added to this Space record's Occupancy Allocations.
Perform the same actions as described above in searching for a new Organization to be assigned to the Occupancy Allocations of this Space record.
NOTE: You may add as many Organizations to the Occupancy Allocations for this Space Record as needed.
All Organizations added to the Occupancy Allocations section will display in the Space record.
Ensure that the percentage to be allocated to each Organization listed in the Occupancy Allocations section is entered in the Override fields as necessary.
NOTE: Also ensure that that the percentage of all Organizations listed in the Occupancy Allocations section does not exceed 100 percent.
Click the Save button in the Space record.
