Click Portfolio.

Go to the Locations section and click Location Hierarchy.

Locate and open the Building record from the Hierarchy.

In the Building record, Area Measurements tab, locate the EFA Building Area Measurements section.

Area calculation equals:  (EFA Building Gross Area + EFA Covered Unenclosed Area)*50 is the method most often used by the University of California to report Gross Area.  This data element is used when reporting Gross Area for capital and space planning and design purposes (e.g., development of capital budgets and preparation of project planning guides), for calculating Maintained Area for operation and maintenance of plant purposes, and for responding to State reporting requirements. Measured in terms of outside gross square feet,

OGSF50 = Basic Gross Area + 50% of the reported Covered Unenclosed Area

Area measurement in square feet, auto-calcuated based on the sum of the square feet of all EFA Buidling/Basic Gross plus EFA Covered Unenclosed * 50%
